Με 1000άδες βιντεάκια αναρτημένα στο Γιουτιούμπ από όλο τον κόσμο τα οποία κάνουν πιο διασκεδαστικά τα βράδια, γιατί δεν κάνετε κλικ στο παρακάτω και να το χαρείτε; Μαγνητοφωνήθηκε από την θέση του συνοδηγού από τον γράφοντα την Κυριακή 12 Ιανουαρίου 2014 από την Κόρινθο ως την Αθήνα στον αυτοκινητόδρομο, επιστρέφοντας στην ελληνική πρωτεύουσα, αργά το απόγευμα. TRELLA meets ATHENS SUPERBIKE CLUB!! Η ΤΡΕΛΛΑ συναντά την ΛΕΣΧΗ ΣΟΥΠΕΡΜΠΑΪΚ της ΑΘΗΝΑΣ
These are some photos of a very hospitable Superbike Club in Athens (www.superbikeclub.gr) that organised a fantastic ride to the well known and beautiful (and classical Greek) destination of Epidaurus, about 140 klms west of Athens on a gorgeous Sunday weatherwise with top temps about 17-19oC, that is on the 12 January 2014. Needless to say that on the Athens to Corinth highway, the speeds were between 180-260 klms per hour and probably even more and these were sustained during the ride!!
The Club has coffee meetings weekly and some night rides as well as Sunday all day rides or half day rides. In the club there are very nice persons like Grigoris on a Hayabusa, Yiannis on a CBR1000 2007, Apostolis on R1, Lambros on a CBR1000 2008, Ilias on a Hayabusa to mention only a few names in the group. Well done to our Hellene friends for keeping up high with the supersport bike club culture despite any challenges of the current times. Note that mirrors, indicators and....number plates are almost non-existent when riding!! NOW THAT IS....TRELLA!!
Εδώ θα δει κανείς μερικές φωτογραφίες από την πολύ φιλόξενη Λέσχη Σούπερμπαϊκ της Αθήνας (www.superbikeclub.gr) η οποία οργάνωσε μία φανταστική βόλτα στην πασίγνωστη και πανέμορφη (και αρχαία ελληνική) τοποθεσία της Επιδαύρου, περίπου 140 χλμ δυτικά της Αθήνας την Κυριακή 12 Ιανουαρίου 2014 υπό πανέμορφες καιρικές συνθήκες και ανώτερη θερμοκρασία τους 17-18oC. Περιττό να ειπωθεί πως στον αυτοκινητόδρομο Αθηνών-Κορίνθου, οι ταχύτητες έφταναν μεταξύ 180-260 χλμ ανά ώρα και ίσως περισσότερο και αυτές διατηρόντουσαν καθόλη την διάρκεια της εκδρομής.
Η Λέσχη έχει εβδομαδιαίες καφεσυναντήσεις και μερικές νυχτερινές εξορμήσεις καθώς και ολοήμερες ή μισοήμερες Κυριακάτικες βόλτες. Εντός της Λέσχης υπάρχουν πολύ ωραία άτομα όπως ο Γρηγόρης με Χαγιαμπούσα, ο Γιάννης με CBR1000 2007, ο Αποστόλης με R1, ο Λάμπρος με CBR1000 2008, ο Ηλίας με Χαγιαμπούσα για να ειπωθούν μερικά μόνο ονόματα της παρέας. Συγχαρητήρια στους Ελλαδίτες φίλους και συμπατριώτες μας για την ύψωση της κουλτούρας του μηχανοκίνητου αθλητισμού σε σούπερσπορτ μηχανές παρά τις οποιεσδήποτε δυσχέρειες της εποχής. Παρακαλώ, παρατηρήσετε ότι οι καθρέφτες, τα φλασάκια αλλά και...οι πινακίδες είναι σχεδόν όλα άφαντα όταν οδηγάνε!! ΑΥΤΗ ΕΙΝΑΙ...ΤΡΕΛΛΑ!!

TRELLA Sports Motorcycle Friendship Group Sydney, NSW, Australia
"Trella" is a motorcycle friendship group, that commenced in the Summer of 1994-1995 composed of fully licensed high-powered sports enthusiast motorcycle riders who lived and live in Sydney or the surrounds and who enjoy their sports bikes!!The word "trella" is the Greek word for "madness", as riders that join in, are passionate and have a great love for their sports machines! They take care of their "toy" and enjoy every ride they go on!
This has been the case of the existence of the group for over 17 years now by some full of motorbike-riding-passion Greek Australians but the group quickly expanded to encompass anyone with a high-powered sports motorbike and a respect for each other!!
Join in, be sensible, have some fun and ride safely always!

FOR SUMMER 2013-2014
Dear “Trella” Sports Motorbike Riders
please be cognizant that the SUMMER 2013-2014 Calendar (December, January, February), will take a pause until about mid to late February', so no there will be no planned Trella rides due to Leave engagements. About mid February, the webpage will be uploaded with the ride dates, so our friends know of the ride dates.
In the MEANTIME, safe riding to all and have a WONDERFUL CHRISTMAS, NEW YEAR AND SUMMER SEASON!!

Please note that the Wednesday night rides will proceed as long as the weather is stable and predicted being showery or rainy of course. The planned Sunday rides, should be a goer, once again weather dependent!!
Motorcycle riders who wish to join, can ring/sms at least an hour before departure time to seek if it the planned ride is cancelled or postponed, particularly if the weather is predicted to be dicy.
Please remember, on the “Trella” rides (which commenced back in the summer of 1996, just over 17 years ago!), when attending the following points:

- Everyone must follow the road rules as outlined by the law
- Everyone is responsible for their own riding
- Everyone rides in a safe manner for themselves, co-riders and other road users
- Riders must have a full license and roadworthy sports bike
- Riders must ride in appropriate bike gear, highly recommended: leather suits, gloves & boots
- Passengers must be in similar riding gear, particularly wearing of jacket and boots/sturdy shoes
- Everyone follows the outlined route, unless informing the coordinator of an early departure to avoid waiting at the programmed brief stop or at the café destination.
- Be at Meeting Point at least 20-40 mins prior to departures
- The route & exact destination will be made known at the Meeting Point
- “Trella” rides are automatically cancelled if raining or if weather is looking that way
- If the weather is ‘tricky’, sms/ring +61 414 714807 to ascertain ride status between 5.30pm-6.00pm on the Wednesdays and between 9.00am-9.30am on the Sundays
