A GREAT RIDE DOWN SOUTH ON A MOST BEAUTIFUL SUMMER SPECIAL EVENING IN JANUARY 2015!!
On Wednesday 14 January 2015, "Trella" met up with the booming "Sydney Roadrunners Group" and went for a memorable cruise through the Royal National Park to Stanwell Tops and then via the coastal road down to Wollongong for a much needed snack or coffee. It was a great evening as "Trella" has been organising this event annually for the last 19 years to coincide with riding the Natio in daylight rather than complete darkness. The only negative thing was the bugs within the Park were like darts hitting riders and co-riders helmets!! Battling through that, all 35+ riders made it to Stanwell Tops where the winds were quite high but then after that, continued to Wollongong where the weather abated. The night temperature was though a fantastic 24 degrees or so-perfect riding conditions!! A fantastic ride! A great Summer Special Wednesday Daylight Saving Ride!! This will be repeated in mid January 2016!! Keep in touch until then!!
